FVS offer various refurbishment programmes with the ultimate aim that this is a cost effective way of increasing the life span of the vehicle. With the ever increasing costs of buying new vehicles, refurbishments offer significant benefits at much lower costs and we are recognised for our level and standards of work and the quality of the end product.
FVS have extensive experience of refurbishment programmes both for UK and worldwide customers in the civil and military aviation markets. Refurbishments are carried out on customers own fire vehicles or on those supplied by FVS. Vehicles can be operational, very old, have many maintenance issues or be extensively damaged. Whatever the condition FVS can offer a suitable refurbishment programme.
As one of the only companies in the UK specialising in airport fire vehicle refurbishments based on our knowledge and experience refurbishment/upgrade programmes are tailored exactly to the customers requirements and budgets and broadly fall into three main areas of Major, Mid Life and Mini programmes as well as re-body, re-cab and re-chassis work.
