Long & short term service contracts are available at fixed costs including service parts and labour. To reduce down time and vehicles ‘off the run’, FVS can offer a fully certified equivalent replacement vehicle (see hire & sales), while work is being undertaken on a customers vehicle.
A comprehensive 260 point service schedule is followed by our fully qualified and highly experienced service engineers with the work undertaken either in our factory or on site. For site work our engineers are completely self contained using dedicated fully kitted out service vans and taking all waste oils and products away with them for correct environmental disposal.
FVS can work in conjunction with a customers existing maintenance set up to act as back up or deal with some of the more complicated areas on the vehicles.
Standards of workmanship are very high and our experience of all makes and models of fire vehicle ensure that a vehicle serviced by FVS will meet all the stringent performance, operational & Health & Safety standards
Prior to any service a full vehicle inspection and functional test is carried out and a fault list produced. Working with the customer these faults are prioritised and a maintenance programme formulated to reduce vehicle down time and control costs. The customer is advised of an estimate for parts and labour to cover all additional faults prior to the commencement of work.
FVS maintain reliable and accurate vehicle records, full service reports and maintenance records which are issued to the customer for each vehicle after the completion of work. Our aim is to always work with our customers, to maintain our high standards and to offer a cost effective and competitive service within the market
