Technical skills allow us to rectify some faults over the phone while we have highly skilled and experienced engineers on standby to travel to site to deal with breakdowns and undertake repairs.
Our facilities are geared towards breakdowns and repairs and we are at short notice able to remove a vehicle from site and bring it into the factory if required. We are able to deal with most vehicle faults, breakdowns or repairs on any type or model of fire vehicle and hold an extensive stock of spare parts to deal with these situations.
After routine service work or inspections certain faults may be identified that require repair. FVS are aware of budgetary constraints and can prioritise and plan in these types of repairs. We undertake vehicle upgrades, improvements and redesign work, health & safety improvements such as fitting handrails and offer competitive prices.
To reduce down time and vehicles ‘off the run’, FVS can offer a fully certified equivalent replacement vehicle (see hire & sales), while work is being undertaken on a customers vehicle.
